Howdy!
I wrote a kids book on how to draw maps. Primarily it's a children's book with a fun story and a wise old tortoise, but in the back there are helpful map making tips and practice sheets to learn how to draw mountains and trees.
P.S. I'm committed to delivering this project smooth as butter.

p.s. I really really do want each one of my projects to have a 100% completed and delivered on-time record, but Kickstarter makes that nearly impossible. We delivered 95% on-time but this last 5% is kicking my butt. I wish kickstarter would make people put in their address and not just their card info. Anyway, it keeps me up at night

P.S. I ordered 10,000 books thinking that would be more than enough.....well it wasn't! We have completely sold out and will be ordering a big batch coming early next year.
P.P.S I have set aside the 200 books for the backers have not responded yet. I wouldn't dare sell all my books to other people first and neglect my backers. So if you haven't filled out your backerkit survey yet, I have a book ready for you when you do.

A lot has happened the past few weeks:
1. Books have started to arrive. I have not shipped all the orders yet, so don't worry if you haven't gotten yours.
2. My wife gave birth to another little girl! I think she will speed up the process dramatically
3. IF YOUR BOOK IS DAMAGED, or you hate it or some other negative thing.... PLEASE EMAIL ME! I will replace the book, or refund your money. I'm in the business of repeat business. I want people to be happy. So email me at [email protected]
Now here is some sad news:
It has come to my attention that I made a typo in my book. My heart sank when I got that first comment. I am very sorry. I didn't know that there was a misspelled word until after books started arriving to customers.
That being said, the typo will be corrected in future printings making your copy unique. Maybe even rare???? So maybe you can sell your copy in the future for tens of thousands.
But in all seriousness, I am sorry. And for those of you curious, I misspelled Delaware -> Deleware. And in the glossary I got the puncuation wrong on Utah's Kings Peak

The Eagle has landed
A pallet full of books and two goofs
I've been holding my breath for the past few months. Will the books be late? Is the quality going to be bad? Will we make our Christmas deadline?
